Who runs this site

This site is operated personally by Mike Richter (Huntington, NY, USA). It represents personal views only and is not affiliated with any employer.

What I collect

• Anonymous analytics (only if you opt in). Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, with IP anonymisation enabled and all advertising signals disabled. These tell me which pages are useful.
• Referral parameters. If you arrived via a personal link I shared, the ref or utm_* parameters are stored in your browser session so I can credit the introduction.
• Messages you send me. Email or form submissions are processed only to reply to you. They are not used for marketing.

Cookies

Strictly-necessary cookies keep the site working (e.g. remembering your cookie preference). Analytics cookies only load after you accept them in the consent banner. See the Cookies page for the full list.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can ask me at any time to confirm, correct, export, or delete personal data I hold about you. Email mike@elfhome.com with the subject "Privacy request" and I will respond within 30 days.

• Google LLC (Analytics 4, opt-in only).
• Microsoft Corporation (Clarity, opt-in only).
• Calendly (only when you click a scheduling link).
